Just for clarification: You don't have to actually hit it twice,
you can "long press"¹. Not that commonly done with the enter key
(if not by accident), but many people do with e.g. (close by)
backspace or the arrow keys.


¹ Of course, this key repeat and many other aspects of input handling
  are a matter of personal taste and highly configurable with different
  setups probably sporting vastly different defaults.
