Bug#989539: apt upgrade reports "possibly missing firmware" causing undue concern.

I don't know if more than it already checks is technically possible or
if your suggestion would help (I don't have the slightest idea from
which year the hardware is I am using or the exact model name without
looking it up, so adding that info would confuse me just as much if not
more I guess…).

In either case apt has and can not do anything about it. It is output
produced by one of the packages which are installed/upgraded. In this
case a codesearch over Debian suggests one of the methods from
/usr/share/initramfs-tools/hook-functions which is contained in
initramfs-tools-core.

I am therefore reassign this bug to them.
