Bug#945444: apt: Man page for apt-helper missing
Package: apt
Version: 1.8.2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I noticed that my system was trying to run apt-helper on a daily
basis and wanted to know what apt-helper does and peruse descriptions of
command line switches and options.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I typed "man apt-helper" in a bash terminal. I also looked in the man
page for apt.
* What was the outcome of this action?
I received the message "No manual entry for apt-helper"
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I expected the appropriate man page to be opened.
