Bug#872963: apt-ftparchive: Passes through hashes even when explictly disabled.
Package: apt-utils
Version: 1.5~beta1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
When passing options such as APT::FTPArchive::SHA1=false to ftparchive, hashes for the source and Debian tarballs are still added to Sources and only the dsc is skipped. This causes warnings from eg, the census tools.
I'd expect when a hash type is disabled, then none of the hashes of that type are generated.
