Bug#837066: apt: Please add a configuration parameter that allows one to autoremove Priority:required packages
Package: apt
Version: 1.3~rc4
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
currently, apt will refuse to autoremove Priority:required packages.
Thus in sbuild I'm currently hacking around this problem by feeding apt
a manually crafted dpkg status file with all priorities set to extra. I
would like to get rid of this workaround and be able to tell apt that it
should also autoremove Priority:required packages.
Please add a configuration variable that allows me to do this.
Thanks!
cheers, josch
