Bug#833665: please consider adding the possibility to send a diff of periodic output
Package: apt
Version: 1.3~pre3
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
one of the most interesting features of cron-apt is that cron-apt can
send mail iff the output of the apt commands it uses has changed. This
allows people to run cron-apt multiple times a day while only being
bothered via e-mail when there was an actual change to apt's state, as
for example packages waiting to be downloaded.
Please consider adding this to the /usr/lib/apt/apt.systemd.daily
script as well.
Greetings
Marc
