Package: apt
Version: 1.0.9.1

After the last upgrade of packages, apt command does not work with "update" option. "install" seems to work but I did not check the other options before downgrading to 0.9.7.9 (which works fine).
Here is the command output
$ sudo apt-get update
0% [Working]/usr/lib/apt/methods/http: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: undefined symbol: _Z15AutoDetectProxyR3URI
/usr/lib/apt/methods/http: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: undefined symbol: _Z15AutoDetectProxyR3URI
/usr/lib/apt/methods/http: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: undefined symbol: _Z15AutoDetectProxyR3URI
/usr/lib/apt/methods/http: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/apt/methods/http: undefined symbol: _Z15AutoDetectProxyR3URI
E: Method http has died unexpectedly!
E: Sub-process http returned an error code (127)

My system is running Debian Sid, kernel 3.17.0-031700rc2-generic #201408251935.
libc6 version is 2.19-11.

Sounds like a partial upgrade issue which was fixed in the meantime as
otherwise way more people would have been hit/reporting this.

I am therefore closing this as fixed in the meantime, but feel free to
reopen if by some miracle this is still reproducible!
