Package: apt Version: 0.9.7.9+deb7u1 Installed-Size: 3271 Maintainer: APT Development Team <deity@lists.debian.org> Architecture: amd64Team,
Debian is asking me to autoremove a ton of packages and if I did this would severely break the system and make it inoperable. It happens every time I install or remove a package. Thanks for your time.
Regards,
Joe Kierpaul

If you need one of the packages mentioned mark it as manual installed (e.g. apt-mark or just apt-get install it) and apt will keep a note about your decision and no longer suggest the remove (as well as everything which is a dependency of it). Or, well, you could ignore the message as it is just a suggestion. In either case, this is not a bug but a feature, hence closing. Best regards David KalnischkiesAttachment: signature.asc
