Package: apt Version: 0.7.23.1 Hi, It seems the file /var/log/apt/term.log file is not always completly written. I have several cases where the "Log ended" part is not on it's own line, like: Errors were encountered while processing: [...] xserver-xorg-video-apm xserver-xorg-input-evdev xserveLog ended: 2009-12-17 19:18:33 I think it should have ended like: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics xserver-xorg-input-wacom xserver-xorg-input-all xserver-xorg-input-mouse xserver-xorg-input-kbd Log ended ... I also have an other case where I think I'm missing several hunderd lines of output when I compare it to the dpkg.log file, and it doesn't even have the "Log ended" part. (It's a rotated term.log file.) Kurt

(It's a rotated > term.log file.) I can't reproduce this hear, this bug is 6 years old with no further comment (and hence no futher "happens for me too") and I remember rewriting part of the log generation as there were cases in which the log would have been incomplete. So, I relatively sure that this bug was fixed in the meantime and therefore this report should be closed as done, but feel free to reopen it if you can reproduce this of course!
