Hi,
apt-get is a frequently used command (by some). Could you provide an alias/symlink named apt for it?
apt-get is over twice as long as yum, so the speedup would be > 2 :p
Greetings,
Olaf

This has been fixed by the upload of apt 1.0 a few months ago. The apt
package now provides a binary called apt -- which is different from
apt-get, though, but offers everything apt-get does plus what
apt-cache does and some more.
