Control: tags -1 - d-i Control: notfound -1 0.9.14.2 Control: severity -1 wishlist Hi Scott, please try next time to give correct information, so bugs can be properly handled. This is neither a d-i bug nor is the justification correct… And some text from you describing what you did around the error message would not hurt either. For the issue itself: It is selfgrown. The gksu package included in Debian doesn't have this problem, so it comes from a thirdparty or something so we don't have any influence. I am hence closing. Technical it is also wrong to report it against apt as the message comes from dpkg, but they can't do anything about it either. It is a problem you have to solve yourself as it depends a bit on your usage pattern. I presume in your case it is probably okay to just do: dpkg --clear-avail But read the manual to be sure and if unsure contact our support channels like debian-user@lists.debian.org (which is also available in other languages if you prefer).
