I've noticed, you've just silently migrated to git.

The patch seems to be not relevant. Moreover I downgraded apt from
0.9.8.1 to 0.9.7.8 and it didn't help.

apt-get has no verbose argument, so I'm wondering how could I get some
more information about why it fails.
