Package: libapt-pkg4.12
Version: 0.9.7.5
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

Dear Maintainer,

I have just found a bug (segfault) that seems to be related to this library.
Originally the error occured when I wanted to install a package. Here is a
gdb-backtrace from apt-get and aptitude:

The same applies to aptitude (same method invokation led to a segfault). Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you for having a look,
  Rainer

Hi,

I can't reproduce this on amd64 wheezy. As suggested by Gianluca I think
it's time to close this bug. If somebody manages to reproduce the issue
it is easy to reopen again.
