Latest version of apt for new language

Dear All

I have downloaded the source of apt 0.9.7.4 from the sid repository.
I am currently translating the apt-all.pot file to make eo.po (an
Esperanto po file). I shall run the completed po file through msgfmt
to ensure that it is ok.

Is there a later version of apt? Is there, perhaps, a CVS repository with
the development version that I should use?

I am sending a copy of this email to Christian Perrier <bubulle@debian.org>
to let him know what I'm doing.

I understand that the Esperanto Translation Project does not cover
apt and dpkg (I have checked and completed the po file for dpkg).

Should I inform anyone else about my actions?

I am a member of the Esperanto Translation Team.
