Bug#645713: Bug still present

Hi, Michael -

I'm trying to install Debian on an Acer Aspire 5250 as a Christmas gift
for my sister, and have encountered all sorts of problems in the process
which no one seems to have solutions for, probably all hardware related. 
I finally decided to do a dist-upgrade from Squeeze to Wheezy to see if
that might help anything - and ran into the:

E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'libgstreamer0.10-0'.
Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)

...error, and have no idea how to get myself out of this fix other than
by redoing a full netinstall of Squeeze, which will put me right back where
I started.  Given my situation, I'd consider this a serious bug.
