Bug#650851: Can confirm that it is fixed
The bug in the the archive apparently vanished a few seconds ago.
curl -s http://security.debian.org/dists/lenny/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.bz2
| bunzip2 | grep -q ^None && echo bug found
curl -s http://security.debian.org/dists/lenny/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
| gunzip | grep -q ^None && echo bug found
Both do no more say "bug found" and more important:
"apt-get update" with "deb http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates"
in /etc/apt/sources.list now works again.
