regarding [libapt-pkg] apt-get segfaults on corrupt /var/cache/apt/*.bin

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

i have occasionally tried searching:

apt-cache search unit++

ant it has segfaulted. thought its something wrong with ++, but
could find any other string which would segfault apt-cache...
maybe there is something wrong with Packages file? I am ready
to provide any additional info
