I stumbled upon this annoying behaviour:
$ apt-cache show cdebootstrap
[...]
Description-fr:
Tag: devel::debian, interface::commandline, qa::old-rc-bugs, role::program, suite::debian
$ LANG=en_US apt-cache show cdebootstrap
[...]
Description: Bootstrap a Debian system
cdebootstrap is used to create a Debian base system from scratch.
Tag: devel::debian, interface::commandline, qa::old-rc-bugs, role::program, suite::debian
(I prefer some text than nothing... even if it's written in another language.)
