Bug#594694: apt: N: Ignoring file 'on_hold' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as it has no filename extension
Package: apt
Version: 0.8.0
Severity: normal
Hi,
I collect apt-sources.lists which I don't use at the moment in a
sub-dir called "on_hold":
# LC_ALL=C ls -lR /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/:
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 328 Jul 24 23:57 debian.list
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 13 16:00 on_hold
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/on_hold:
total 12
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 145 Sep 12 2009 quassel-nightly.list
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 143 Aug 30 2009 radeonkms.list
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 116 Mar 16 2009 sidux.list
As you can see on_hold is a directory *not* a file.
Either the checking is wrong or the error-message:
N: Ignoring file 'on_hold' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as
it has no filename extension
I see this on "apt-get {update,dist-upgrade}".
Kind Regards,
