Hi all, I have two questions I hope someone can help with. I can provide more details if required. I'd like to say up front I /have/ attempted to read the documentation, and yes, I've tried to provide patches where it seemed wrong [1]. == How can i get Packages/Contents files only containing the specific architectures data? == This one is a bit of a user question, rather then devel, but i'm willing to do the doco patches if i find out how it works :) I've tried to set up a simple repo for 3 arches: i386, amd64 and mipsel. Packages and Contents files are generated for all 3 arches, but all contain identical data. this happens when using the BinCache option, so I guess its not a broken package hiding in my caches. I've attached my apt-ftparchive config, incase its wrongly configured. == Tree/BinDir structure repositories. == Is there a particular reason to create both now? Historical reasons only? Tree as it is used these days is basically a slightly more complex version of BinDir Thanks in advance, kk [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580871 I've also looked at config/debian-security/apt.conf in daks git repo, but I couldn't see any obvious reason it would work and mine doesn't. -- Karl Goetz, (Kamping_Kaiser / VK5FOSS) Debian contributor / gNewSense Maintainer http://www.kgoetz.id.au No, I won't join your social networking group
