Package: apt Version: 0.5.28.1 Severity: wishlist Hi, There is no log file for the command apt-get, no traces, no history of the updates, upgrades are recorded. Much operation on the system is recorded except the updates/upgrades. When there is a problem with a package, the maintainer asks for information on the update, without the log file it is complicated. When there is several administrator of a system and that there is a problem, it can be useful to have a file of the updates/upgrades. Apt logs all to /var/log/apt/term.log by default, and there is a configuration option to log to other file. I'm closing these bugs. -- Eugene V. Lyubimkin aka JackYF, JID: jackyf.devel(maildog)gmail.com Ukrainian C++ Developer, Debian Maintainer, APT contributorAttachment: signature.asc
