Package: apt
Version: 0.1.9

I'm in a situation where it seems logical to do:

apt-get -f -m install

However, the apt-get man page discourages this.

What is the appropriate action supposed to be?

[I agreed with a pam package that I should abort installation and
install it later. So things are "broken". One of my apt sources
is incomplete (www.de.debian.org), so things are "missing". I'm
perfectly capable of fixing this, but think that other people are
going to find them selves in this situation, and some will be
confused.]

Very old bug, we have nothing to do with it. Closing. Reopen if you object.
