python-apt: apt-get source dir

Not sure this is really the place, but if it isn't I bet someone here can tell 
me where it is, and then I will go there. aka: tell me where to go.

when I do:
$ apt-get source $PACKAGE
A dir gets created. using python-apt, how can I get the dirname it will create?
