Fair enough. There is always the "--no-build-dep-automatic" option but
that becomes a bit unwieldy. Merged and uploaded to experimental
(together with your other fixes, thanks a lot!).

If there are no objections I would like to upload the experimental
version to unstable soon, it includes the "Valid-Until" change, but it
also contains some i18n changes :/
