Package: apt Version: 0.5.24 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/apt-get -- Package-specific info: I was unable to find out whether there is a native way to limit the download rate for apt-get, something like wget --limit-rate=amount. Am I missing something, or could it be a feature added in some next release? I' d find it very useful, both for "nice" upgrades during generic browsing on a dialup connection and for a more polite usage of the bandwidth available in some well connected but multi user LAN. Version: 0.7.14 This option was working at least in apt 0.7.14. Anyway, closing the bug. -- Eugene V. Lyubimkin aka JackYF, Ukrainian C++ developer.Attachment: signature.asc
