Package: apt Version: 0.6.38 Severity: wishlist Hello Please implement a Post-Update hook for /etc/apt/apt.conf.d scripts. It should not be that hard but would give admins a lot to play with for example - notify via mail if favourite packages are upgradeable - warn non-downloadable packages because they will not get security advisories or updates - check if any security upgrades are pending This sounds related to #207431 but in the other bug report you were discussing another problem but feel free to merge. bye, -christian-
