Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: wishlist Would love to see apt-get also prompt for all packages that are recommended (or suggested) by any of the packages that are being installed... perhaps doing something similar to the recursive dependency-lookup. viz. have an option to treat recommendations as if they were dependencies.. and have another option to treat suggestions as dependencies. PS: aptitude already has a --with-recommends... somethign similar for apt-get would be awesome. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux socionomics.net 2.4.25 #1 Thu Apr 1 13:26:20 EST 2004 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE= Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.3.1-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-11woody1 The GNU stdc++ library
