Package: aptitude
Version: 0.2.15.8-1
Severity: normal

Hi!

I have cron-apt in a @reboot job. That job frequently fails during the
apt-get update phase, leaving corrupted Packages files around.

When I start aptitude and hit "u" on, aptitude fails with a segfault.
A backtrace is attached, the core is available on request by private
e-mail. If there is any more I can do, please say so.

The segfault is easily fixed by deleting the files that aptitude
complained about on startup.

Greetings
Marc

As these bugs about segfaults on upgrade are not reproducible (all assigned to
apt (<< 0.6.0)), there is no we can do for them. Closing thus.
