Package: apt-utils Version: 0.7.15 Severity: normal Just when I thought I could finally get rid of a libdb4.x version (i.e. libdb4.3), apt-utils starts to depend on libdb4.4. I already have libdb4.5 (priority standard), libdb4.6 (priority required), and libdb4.3 installed. Please, if somehow possible, link against libdb4.6, which according to the priority seems to be the currently recommended version. I don't want to make "collecting libdb versions" my new hobby... Thanks for considering, Michael -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (300, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27-rc8 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages apt-utils depends on: ii apt [libapt-pkg-libc6.7-6-4.6 0.7.15 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb4.4 4.4.20-12 Berkeley v4.4 Database Libraries [ ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 apt-utils recommends no packages. apt-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
