Package: apt
Version: 0.5.14
Severity: wishlist
Currently, as documented in the sid manpage, one can only pin a single
package per "version", or all packages (via "*") per "release".
It would be useful to pin a single package per "release" as well, since:
1. one possibly does not want to bother what the package version is
2. pinning a version uwing a wildcard may not be adequate, as
examplified by the openssh major upgrade during the potato
maintainance cycle
