Hi there ... the following in /etc/apt/apt.conf is/was ok: Acquire::http::Proxy "http://heiss-k:password@proxy.mycompany.at:3128";; since I must use the username: tiwag\heiss-k apt cannot login?? Acquire::http::Proxy "http://tiwag\heiss-k:password@proxy.mycompany.at:3128";; is this a problem with apt, or is there something to do with the "\" ??? Thanks Konrad
