Bug#300745: apt: No log file for Apt ?
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.28.1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
There is no log file for the command apt-get, no traces, no
history of the updates, upgrades are recorded.
Much operation on the system is recorded except the updates/upgrades.
When there is a problem with a package, the maintainer asks for
information on the update, without the log file it is complicated.
When there is several administrator of a system and that there
is a problem, it can be useful to have a file of the updates/upgrades.
Regards.
