Hello, actually, I also would like to see the handling of binary-all eased. I did not try the patch since patching apt looks a bit dangerous to me, but the effect described by Russ match what I would like for my tiny local tree. I know that it's a bad idea to stick to the old tree organization, but if it does not polute too much your code, I'd be thankful to commit it. Thanks for your time, Mt.
