Bug#241355: Wish: Some kind debfoster like feature when removing / purging packages

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.24
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I normaly run deborphan after I removed or purged a package, to look
packages, which I may remove now, too. It would be usefull, if apt-get
would do that for me:

$ apt-get remove xyz
...
It seems that removing package xyz would render installed packages
libabc and libdef unnecessary. Should I remove them, too? [y|B|h|?]
