I had mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail
held at version 0.5-1 because of bugs #234177 and #234118.
I decided to follow the directions here:
http://www.jwsdot.com/debian/ and purge and reinstall
with the new version (0.5-2).
Here is what happened:
sanchezr@miami:~$ sudo apt-get remove --purge mozilla-thunderbird
mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail
