Bug#225453: apt-utils: apt-ftparchive creates empty Packages.gz

Just want to add a small information:

apt-utils 0.5.17 is broken and "apt-ftparchive generate" generates only
empty Packages.gz's for me, after downgrading to 0.5.16 its ok and my
repository is usable again.
