Yes, I'm using 0.5.14.

And I *do* see that helpful error when snapshot.debian.net from Friday
is in my sources.list.

But *only* that.  If I add back in my others (except for US unstable),
the problem returns.

I've narrowed it down to exactly 2 sources.list lines that repro the
problem for me:

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ testing main
deb-src http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2003/11/14/debian unstable main
