apt crash

apt just crashed on me while trying a dselect-upgrade; since apt doesn't
include any debugging information, I doubt the stack trace will be of
much use.

I think I can attribute this to trying to upgrade to gnome 2.4, the
unofficial packages (deb http://people.debian.org/ ~fpeters/gnome2.4/)
I'm running unstable up-to-date as of today.

Here goes anyway, and I'll try to recompile a version of apt with
debugging info.
