Package: apt
Version: 0.5.9
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/bin/apt-get

Perhaps cause an error when --diff-only or --tar-only are used with
other choices than "source", e.g.
# apt-get --diff-only install grass
installs a 33.7MB archive ignoring --diff-only.

I have explained several times to you not to change the status of bugs that
I have closed. You have demonstrated poor judgement in the past and show no
signs of interest in being more helpful. Stop doing this. Do you
understand?

apt-get --purge install is a perfectly valid invocation, because the
'install' command can both install and remove packages.
