apt-cache dotty currently outputs in graphviz format, which is
non-free.  Please consider using formats such as GML (see
http://infosun.fmi.uni-passau.de/Graphlet/GML/) instead.  GML is used
by Tulip, which is free software (http://www.tulip-software.org/).

Yes, this meets my needs.  Please feel free to close this if you feel
like it.  Although I'm tempted, I won't ask for a removal of dotty
support. ;-)
