On debian/unstable, powerpc architecture I've installed only the manpage
for apt in section 8.

  $ dpkg -L apt | grep /usr/share/man

On i386, same command outputs:

The apt 0.5.6 source tarball was built using the cvs-build target in
debian/rules, which ensures that the documentation is pre-generated.
According to the build logs I have seen so far, autobuilt apt 0.5.6 packages
include the man pages.
