Bug#193336: apt: Errors in apt_preferences(5) man page
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.5
Severity: minor
Tags: sid patch
I have submitted a patch to the apt_preferences(5) man page
appended to the following message among others
http://lists.debian.org/deity/2003/deity-200305/msg00009.html
which corrects misinformation that I introduced to the page
when I and others overhauled it for release 0.5.5. The most
important problem is that the page states systematically that
apt assigns priorities to package instances, whereas in fact
it only assigns priorities to package versions.
Please apply the patch.
