Bug#192858: apt: infinite loop with APT::Get::Show-Versions

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.5
Severity: normal

I put the line

APT::Get::Show-Versions "true";

into my apt.conf
Now on apt-get dist-upgrade apt keeps showing the packages with version
forever...
