Bug#186767: apt: Release files should have a default pin-priority
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: wishlist
I am running my own apt repository for mldonkey and patches on other
packages I'm experimenting with. Now some people want to use mldonkey
but don't want my other packages.
The only way I saw to make my repository not overwrite the default
debian packages by default was to add "NotAutomatic: yes" to my
release file. But then the mldonkey debs won't be updated anymore.
It would be nice if one could set a default pin-priority in the
release file so that per default my repository is only used for
packages not already in debian. Any client side pinning should of
cause overrule the default.
