Bug#180322: APT bug/wishlist

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Package: APT
Version: All

Issue:

$ apt-get --reinstall install <package-name>

The apt way of reinstalling a package seems to me, fairly unintuitive, in that it requires a second 'install' command to apt, where as the - --reinstall switch seems to already imply that one wishes to reinstall the package, and not "reinstall, install".

Might I suggest having the --reinstall command/switch either not need the 'install' or, adding a 'reinstall' command, ala 'install'?
