Bug#178537: apt: "wating for file"

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: minor
File: /usr/bin/apt-get

there are several stages in running apt-get install where the user
will see "waiting for file" but it is not clear what file or how big
the file is.

Yes maybe this will appear on the screen momentarily, but not so fast
for modem users...

also these operations should perhaps have a blank line separating
messages regarding different files...
