That particular error means the RFC822 framing isn't being followed
properly.
It's probable that the file is missing the trailing new line, I think
there has been a latent bug in that code that never actually mattered
because everything properly adds the trailing new line to the package
files.
Maybe you should send the status file to me and I can have a look.
