Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: normal

If a Packages or Sources file request is redirected (302 Found, in my example)
to a 404, the 404 isn't detected and followup requests for
[Packages|Sources][.gz|.bz2] aren't made.

Example:

deb http://gluck.debian.org/%7Eandreas/debian wine main
deb-src http://gluck.debian.org/%7Eandreas/debian wine main

-- System Information

APT does not support redirects. You must use the correct URI.
