Look, I +know+ about the pinning feature and I specifically went
through the apt-get manual page looking for this information. Now that
you tell me that it's there, I see it, but it should IMHO be made
clearer. I hope you don't mind if I reopen this bug and submit a patch
against the manual page.

Also, the wish to have apt Suggests: apt-howto still stands.
