Bug#127548: apt: Information on size of archives with --dry-run option
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: wishlist
If I wanted to upgrade all upgradable packages on my current
system then apt-get helpfully informs me..
Need to get 149MB of archives. After unpacking 32.3MB will be used
and then I know that I'll just wait a wee bit until that cable
connection dream come true.
I think it would be nice to have the same bit of useful
information when one uses the --dry-run option with apt-get.
So that was my wish.
Thanks for your work,
Morten
